    Exclamation Electrical Problems

So today i was changing the stock bulbs in the clearence strip and just turn the wheels all the way right to access the RIGHT head lamp... by peeling the fender liner back and sqeezing my hand in there quickly changing the blub and putting it all back together. WELL !!! in doing so... i could NOT SEE anything.. so i decided to turn the lights ON !!! and put the bulb in... as soon as i did it.... both clearence strip bulbs went out along with both side markers.... i checked fuse boxes in the front and the drivers panels where the foot brake is. no clue as to what fuse it... so i checked them ALL !! none are blown? have NOOOO idea as to what could be the deal.

i was thinking of putting the stock bulbs back... but the thing im conerned about would be the KP Tec. Shock Sensor i added.... the installation of that was done right near the fuse box and wondering if the dealer would viod the warranty on it...

any one know where the fuse boxes are... theres one where the footbrake is... another small strip where the car battery is under the hood... any more i dont know about???

and if there are the only 2 which fuse is the one for the Bumper Lights (corners) and the clearence strip lights... ??

    thanks in advance

from what i understand, the dealership would have to prove that the modification you made caused the issue, before they denied warranty coverage. If it were me, I wouldn't mention anything about the shock sensor.

but they are going to see the wiring... beacuse it is DIRECTLY next to the fuses... where the pedals are.... they WILL see them theres no doubt about that i dunno ? what the problem could be though... only thing would be a blown fuse but which fuse is it?

    hmmm

The fuses should be labelled.. Was a wire pinched during your accident.. I have seen it happen.. I would check the stock bulbs..They wont work if it was a fuse.. if they do it was the bulbs.. just some possible options

after the accident everything was in working order... how ever the accident was in the front of the car.... both headlights and both side markers were replaced and stock OEM bulbs were put in the brand new parts.... nothing was wrong with any of the lights till i went to change the bulbs in the clearence strip while the power to the lights were ON!!! lol... i changed the bulbs with the power on =/ and as soon the wedge bulb fit in.. both clearence strip and the side markers went out... and TODAY i realized the tail lights were not working as well....

any suggestions on what could be wrong?

    Yeah

It will do that when you leave the lights on then... Most likely it would be a fuse then... I just had a fuse go out on me, just by connecting my battery, and my radio went out.. which is in the slim box by the battery

thanks... kind of what i figured any idea on which fuses are for the clearence strip on the head light... the side markers (corner lights) and the tail lights?

checked the fuse box on the driver side kick plate area... looked at the fuse marked "Tail Light" its a red 10A fuse... and its in working condition....
