coming home from work one day cruising I entered the highway and a twin turbo 300zx flies by, followed by a honda accord I laugh and say WHY, 300z vs accord waist of time anyway the Z see me as a better challenge and decides to slow down and wait, so with no feeling of racing this guy I end up behind him and he takes off, still cruising, he slow again and I end up behind him he takes off again and I say what the hell so I down shift and he is already one and a half car lenght in front of me, I end up pulling him in under his bumper and felt like I was going to push him out the way until he changed lanes and I end up side by side with him and started pulling away 130ish until I shut down and he rolls up next to me and nods. I know those cars are 300hp twin turbo I was surprised I pulled him in and started to pull on him at top speed like that, if I kept going to 155 I surely would have pulled a couple car length on him. especially if we started out side by side. I have to say I still love to hear the sound of those turbo cars blow off .

prob not, but even with after market turbo I think he would have me at top end. when he shifted you heard the blow off. nice car. the G35 has surprised me so far I have a friend that is bulding an eclipse 2g with first g bottom end so I might have to up my game soon. would you say the vortech supercharger is better than the stillen brand I have heard people complain about stillen superchargers being crap, belts slipping isssue as well. well that was with my 2000 maxima I don't know about the G.

You will get destroyed the first race against your friend.. then when he stops and realizes he has thrown a rod or bent a valve u win.. cause those things are insane with mods and 1/4 mile... but the worst reliable modable car EVER!! sory im bitter caus ei had a heavily built one that just would not stop having problems lol..

dont 4get they lost a step..they are old ...lol...but oif they were aftermarket turbos u would of been eaten like a ice cream on a 100 degree day...

i like when supras find me and rip me cuz they are just the dream of the crop in that whole twin turbo world in that time!...id be mad losing to a Z or 3000gt or stealth...but if it was a supra id lose witha smile on my face cuz i got 2 c the tails! lol

actually, supras r the cream of the crop 4 single turbos. most of the big guys go single 4 the insane torque they can pull from turbos the size of ur head.

as far as the 300zx tt, it always will b a sick car.

the vortech n stillen r 2 diff types of blowers. a stillen is more even power throughout the whole band. it is more practical 4 a daily driver but ure not going 2 c a huge hp increase. the vortech is still less harsh than a turbo but has an increasin power curve similar 2 a turbo. id go w/ the vortech if i was u.

i meant stock for stock....supra is just a beast...and aftermarket its even better...bottom end stock holds 500whp safely from what i understand...

lol The 2JZ-GTE can take 1000whp on the bottom end before you really need to worry about it. Its a Turbo motor built for boost. Not a N/A VQ.

+1. it was designed 4 that from the start. the 300zx motor is also pretty strong but not as bad***** as the supra's.
