Saw the 2011 IPL coupe and 2011 limited edition vert. I like it. Pics inside.

Went to the dealer today and saw the 2011 IPL coupe and 2011 Limited Edition (LE) vert (similar styling to the anniversary edition vert from 2010)

I gotta say the IPL coupe does not look bad from the front in person. However since it was in black it's possibly I'm not easily offended by the front lip as much.
I had the sales guy show me the LE vert and apart from the chrome, it's also very nice in malbec black. The black headlights on both cars really give it a different look. I don't think I'd pay 57.6k MSRP for the LE vert though. (paddle shifters, heated and cooled seats, 9.3Gb HDD, NAV,premium, red interior is probably the bulk of the extra cost plus the "different/reused annivesary edition sides" front and sides, plus fog lights on the bumper, plus midnight grille). They would both still need drops though.


I arrived at the service stop and it was an all red affair

Red g37 sedan, red fx35 SUV and red g37s vert . Yes the stars are indeed aligned.

the ipl kit is the only thing im iffy about like the coupe front bumper. and price doesnt seem too bad when a loaded coupe is just under 50k msrp.

I have not seen the G37 Limited for this year so far,

But the IPL provided some very nice basic upgrades to the G37S which includes;
Stiffer springs, larger sway bars, coilovers instead of shocks, bigger rotors, bigger brakes, better wheels, better tires. Nismo exhaust, larger rear spoiler, different front fascia and spoiler, different side fascia, different rear fascia, fog lights, different headlights, nicer interior.

This was why I went with the IPL. I figured I would save a bit early on doing performance mods, since some of them are there and for $8K it sounds awful cheap for the amount of mods I got.

I know I can sell the wheels alone for almost half of that extra cost.

So does the limited come with these performance mods?
