    Greddy Twin Turbo...

I'm planning on getting a twin turbo for my 03' Z this December an im wondering whats the best way to go... are the bolt-ons the best choice? If so, do you just bolt it on with no major mods under the hood? An last.. .does it come with everything needed to run properly? If the Greddy isnt the best turbo any suggestions would be appreciated

    Boosting with Greddy

You need to talk to Sharif at Forged Performance. Not to put you down but you said your not familiar to engine work. Which TT might not be up your alley. You would have to pull your engine to install this kit to get the correct torque on all the nuts. Now if money is not problem for you then that's another story. The kit comes with everything you will need considering you run mild boost. Plan to spend a good ten grand for everything. Plus it's best if you get an exhaust too. All kits are good. You need to make sure you get a good tune. And Sharif is the man, just ask around. He also runs aGreddy TT with around 500 to 600 HP.

    Hi CM,

We'd be happy to help you with this kit. We have used the Greddy TT kit in countless cars, but it is not a complete or safe kit out of the box..even at low boost. It really needs a few extras, such as a return fuel system, UTEC for tuning, and a fuel pump. There are several very good and safe twin kits on the market, and each has their strengths. I like to talk to the customer first, and assess their goals before making a recommendation.

Another GREAT option for a stock engine, is the JWT TT kit. very complete and safe out of the box, and nothing else is required. They are $6990 for the kits, and $2600 for install. We always remove the engine/tranny compelte, prior to bolting on the turbo kit. It makes for a perfect install, everytime.

Do you have experience with the JWT kit? Do you sell the kit? I visited JWT last time I was in San Diego and was impressed with their people and engineering/development facilities. I've not been able to find any shops on the east coast that has experience with this kit or even any real information about the kit. What is included with the kit? Are there any pictures of the kit floating around? Thanks for the info.

Yes, we are one of a handful of shops, that are authorized to sell and install the JWT TT kit: http://www.forgedperformance.com/sto...at=254&page=1\

The kits have to be installed by our shop. They are extremly safe, and perfectly fit and engineered. :) Let us know when you are ready.

If your budget is set at less than $10K, then the JWT kit with install, and a couple if gauges would fit that bill. I cant recall if you have an exhaust system and test pipes/high flow cats...but we need to open that exhuast for best results. Expect about 350whp with the exhaust.
