clicking noise when i break hard, or on sharp (slow) turn

I have a problem that recently started with my 350Z touring roadster.

Its new, less than 6000 miles.

Whenever I turn all the way to the left or right, for instance pulling into a parking spot, there is a clicking noise and you can feel it on the peddle, as if something is shifting or loose in the front end or the steering column. If the car was front wheel drive, you would swear it was a CV joint problem, but there aren't any CV joints on the front of a rear-wheel drive car.

You can also feel it if you break hard, there is a click which you can feel in the break.

The dealership spent most of yesterday tightening every bolt on the front end, and made no difference. Now they are ordering struts..

I anyone has had a similar problem, it'd love to here from you

Make sure that its not coming from the rear. I had problems from the right rear. But the dealer fixed that. I think there is a TSB on it.

Is it a click or a thunk? I had a pretty hard thunk that came from the front that would occur during cornering where the chassis was flexed (e.g. a driveway where some wheels were higher than others) or during moderate to hard braking. It turns out that the upper control arm bolts needed to be loosened and retightened. The tech said there was some sort of tech note on it (it wasn't a tsb), and I was in and out of the dealership in 30 minutes. I'm going back today to get the rear axles rebuilt for the rear clicking that happense under acceleration/deceleration.

Ok, the dealer just fixed it!

It was the two front upper link bolts as mentioned in NTB03-88

Ironically this note says it only applies to 2003 and 2004 models built on or before 7/23/03.

Obviously that is crap as my car is two months old and built THIS year!!!

Ah well, hopefully Nissan will update this NTB!!!

Here is a hint. As well as headlight overlays(in a special color) ;)


And a few (2) well placed Nismo stickers(hood and rear). I am hoping maybe to get my hands on the rarely scene R-tune sticker.
I have already upgraded the tint went from 35% sides/ 30% rear. To 20% sides and 5% rear. Do to Georgia realizing that it is illegal to enforce tint laws on in state cars and not do it on out of state cars.
