    Electrical gremlins?

I have noticed over the past few days a couple of electrical hangups and was wondering if anybody else was experiencing the same thing?

#1: Every once in a while the passenger seat will not move up when the seatback is folded forward.

#2: This weekend the trunk would not release. Neither the keyfob nor the switch would release it. Locked or unlocked. I had to start the car, then hit the switch. After that everything worked fine.

Seems like there was something else but now I can't remember. I'll have to check with the wife.

I'm also curious if anybody with the grounding kit has noticed whether it helps to iron out glitches like this?

Waijai - Any feedback from customers?

I don't think the grounding kit will iron those out. I have had the seatback not move, and also the other day, the a/c,compass and external air temp panel lights started to flicker and display unintelligible info for a few seconds, and then corrected itself.

my dual climate control didn't display the passengers side temp. after driving for a while it appeared. this had happened twice. there was no passenger in the seat, but it shouldn't do this right? My car is not even 3 weeks old.

WaiJai, do you think it's because you have the grounding kit? Try and control the salesman inside of you. I'm going to get one of your kits the next time I see you, just curious if it will help any other electrical problems.

I don't have a grounding kit and have not experienced any electrical issues yet...crossing fingers, too.

I don't think a grounding kit would really solve the glitches you're experiencing. I never had any problems pre-grounding kit either. *triple crosses fingers*

I'll be bringing a bunch of grounding kits to the meet next weekend.

I am an idiot, I just realized that when you put the climate control on winsheild defrost, the dual temperature function goes away (which makes perfect sense). That is why I thought my passenger temp gauge was going out. Maybe I need to read my manual.
