Shocks, Sway Bars, Brake Kits, Rotors, etc.
I have a 2003 Touring, stock. I've had it at the track once only. But my daily commute is 80% on a very hilly, very windy road (my vqfrenzy handle is named after it). I drive this road very aggressively at times, and aggressively much of the time. My objective with the replacement is to improve...
Mr Brown delivered package last week and got these installed last weekend.
It finally became time to replace the factory front brakes. I got okay life on them. I gotta say WOW! What was I waiting on?! I can tell quite a bit of difference within just in the first 3 days. So a few months back I was seaching for a cheap BBK and asking for info to see if anyone had installed a kit from Fastbrakes.com. So Kevin (aka ALT_Red_G35) had mentioned that he was selling his kit so PM's were exchanged and the rest is history, well yesterday I finally got around to installing...
Hello, All: Keep an eye out for the January 2010 issue of Modified Magazine. There's an article on installing the sport brake package from the 370Z on the 350Z with the help of a caliper adapter kit. Hawk brake pads and Stop Tech slotted rotors were also part of the upgrade, with some sticky...
Hello fellow Hotchkisians..... I got my springs today and just wondering for those of you running Hotchkis springs the following: 1) Did you require additional toe/camber hardware? From what I've read from other threads its sounds like most of you were able to get your alignments done without...
I installed a set of the Hotchkis springs a couple of months ago. Just now took the time to get a couple of pics. I hate the stock wheels. My Axis wheels are put to bed for the Ohio winter. As you can see I have a little less wheel gap. The back end definetly squats better when you hammer it into a...
I'm wanting to lower my 06 Z without having to buy camber kits or replace the oem shocks From what I have been reading I will need to get a set of springs that have similar spring rates to the oem springs and lower less than 1". Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks
I was set on doing the Abeko 370z upgrade when I found a Willwood system for under 1700 dollars. Revolution Brake LLC has a site on Ebay offering 13 in. 4 piston one piece drilled rotors, steel braided lines included. The front and rear kits are sold seperatly. I bought the front set for 739 bid...
Well, it finally happened. I failed an inspection due to bad front brakes. I guess I can't complain since they are the stock pads that now have 37K on them! So what brand pads should I use? I recall someone mentioning "Hawk" pads? Or something like that. Also, wasn't there a type that had...

FedEx Ground dropped the kit off 30 minutes ago (10:30 AM EST). Will post more pics as soon as I get it installed!
Well, I ordered my big brake kit a couple days ago. Should have it within the next 14 days. Will post pics when they're installed. And just in time for a couple of upcoming local shows... :evilgrin3
Anyone out there in Frenzy land have experience with Ultimate Braking Rotors? I'm not interested in a BBK at this time but would like to replace the stock rotors with slotted/drilled replacement rotors. Brake Planet has these replacement rotors for 295.00 front and rear. Here's their link:...
Anyone have experience with Function & Form coilovers? I've seen threads on these in respect to Honda's but understand they also have these for the Z. Any feedback or comments on this product is appreciated.
Anyone have any experiences with the Tanabe Sustec NF210 Springs? Are they better than the Nismo S-Tune springs in terms of lowering & ride comfort? I'm assuming I'd need a front and rear caster & camber adjustment kit to go along with them. http://www.tanabe-usa.com/springs/nf210.asp

What do you guys think of the Porterfield R4S Brake Pads? (supposedly these brake pads are the best, but I don't know anyone that has used them) In your opinion, what do you think the best street performance brake pads are on the market? Something I can use without heating them up first.

Hey Guys and Gals I'm looking at some lowering springs (Eibach) and I looked at past posts in reference to them and I see alot about adding a camber kit and also something about the noise. Can anyone break it down for me before I make a noob suspension mistake that'll cost me in the long run. ...
