Pioneer Avic-Z2 question...

I have used the Z1 and love it very much. I am looking at both the Z1 and Z2 and would like to get the Z2.

Has anyone here used the Z2? Also I have been doing research on the Z2 and cannot find anyone who has found a bypass for this. If anyone here has any info on this product or bypass info please pass my way.

check out www.avic411.com They have answers to all your questions about the pioneer lineup. From what I have heard, its not worth it to buy the Z2 and acutually, I think there is software somewhere that will upgrade your z1 to z2 status....dont hold me to that though.

I was just on avic411 yesterday and no one there was able to find a bypass. I also heard about the cd upgrades to z2 status dont know if it is true or not. I think that the z1 is going to be my option

Ive got the z1 and I think you will be happy with it if you get it. It hasnt done me wrong yet and Ive had it for a year now.

Yeah I think you are right Diesel.. I have a buddy that has one and loves it and never had any problems with it.

I was at hot import nights last night in San Diego and I talked to one of the Pioneer guys and he told me that he didnt know of any bypass. He could have been bs'in me but he seemed pretty truthful.

I know pioneer guys wont tell the bypass for liability reasons, but if the guys over at AVIC411 dont know the answer, i guess there isnt one. Some of those guys really know their stuff when it comes to hacks for the AVIC lineup. I hope you enjoy the Z1!
