View Full Version : If the GT-R..
Came in the mid $50k range how many of you guys would consider making the upgrade? I bug Nolan (silvernole) every day about what I want to do but I cannot really decide. I saw a post on driver that the base GT-R may come in at around $56k and if this is the case I would wait till the dealerships gain their senses and sell at MSRP.. but who knows. Any opinions?

they wont sell it at MSRP..they never do (it would be nice if they did). But if they did...i still wouldnt buy it first year...it takes nissan a while to work out their kinks...I have been pondering this..should I instead of dumping more cash into mine or wait...im dumping now saving later ;-)

I've got something to hold me over until they make it look a little better. Yeah, mid 50's sound good.

under 60k is decent and I would get that. Just like everyone else said, I would wait for the next gen at least. In the mean time, I got my G to keep me busy :)

According to the New Spring 2007 Nissan Sport Mag there will be THREE GT-R models:
They are if I remember correctly:
1. The base GT-R will be $55,000 and the only one available with the 6mt.
2. The GT-R V-SPEC for $67,000 with the twin clutch 7 speed paddle shift transmission.
3. The GT-R RACE-SPEC for $100,000 with the twin clutch 7 speed paddle shift trans.

This is EXACTLY what I'm thinking, someone is going to over extend theirselves trying to have the first GT-R's available only to have reality hit them 6 months down the line.. and I'll be there with cash in hand.
6MT works perfectly fine for me as long as it comes with nav
