I'M a happier owner of an 05'coupe 6MT.been checking my mileage religously and the best i been able to squeeze out of her was 25.8 MPG @70MPH this is w/bone stock w/M-1syn. & M-1 filter on 20"Axis. I installed my Z-Tube/drop in K&N today and took a little trip down I-10 about 90miles.stoppped and refueled and to my amazement received 30MPG!! I know,i'm not going to get to happy until i see this over time, but it did put a smile on my face and hers!!

The best fuel economy I calculated on my G was 26.1 mpg with the mods listed in my signature and that was on I-95 heading down to Myrtle Beach last August varying speed from 70-85 mph. Personally, I think 25.8 in our cars is pretty good, a lot better than 14 mpg in my old Jeep Wrangler. My question is did you re-fill after 90 miles or did you re-fill on an almost empty tank? The reason being is that you fuel economy computations will be more accurate if you have driven more miles (i.e. 350 versus 100 for instance) because you have a greater sample. I've checked my gas mileage after 75 miles before and it was much higher than average b/c I didn't drive the car enough on one tank to get a fair representation. My point is that the mods you added would not bump your fuel economy up by 4 mpg. If anything, I noticed maybe a 0.5 mpg increase on my car and that's with the same mod as you.

I'm averaging 20-21mpg with agressive driving and mix of hwy city.

i go about 325 miles on a full tank in the city and have about 2 or 3 gallons left each time.

I get anywhere from 340-350 and that's like almost empty with only 1 gal remains.

My MPG improves with Shell V-Power or BP Ultimate. QT and Racetrac set me back about 20miles less per tank.

I don't know exactly how my mods have affected my theoretical gas mileage but I know I get much worse mileage as an indirect result...............mostly cause I like the sound it makes around 6000rpms @ wide open throttle:FIRE:

I'm waiting to see what my MPG is with the Vortech. I got 27 MPG last year on the way back from Z Dayz.

i use bp ultimate 99% of the time. i went from about 13-15 mpg in stl (yes i know its freaking ridiculous) 2 17-21 mpg in fl. i dont know if it was the gas or weather or what. all i had done was a k&n drop-in unless that was done wrong somehow. now w/ my intake, exhaust n plenum im always redlinin so i drop 2 about 17-18 mpg. since i drive a lot of highway 2 work n on trips, i usually c 20-21 mpg there.

Just purchased my car. It already had stillen exhaust, crawford plenium and cai. I'm only getting 20mpg in the city. I wouldn't think that they would drag down the mpg so bad compared to other peoples Gs. I wonder if I have something wrong?

Nothing is wrong with your mileage. My G sedan has never gotten the gas mileage that my coupe does (or did).
