Parrot install // Mute Question

Just got my Parrot Bluetooth in the mail yesterday:sun: And wanted to know where to grab the speakers wires at. If I grab them behind the radio before they go into the amp will it be able to mute the radio when I get a call? or do I need to grab them after the amp? Thanks.

PS, It's a 04 with Bose and Nav.

I'd like to help, but I'm unfamiliar with the Parrot and how it needs to be installed.

Thanks. I'm just guessing, but radio signals come in thru the antenna, procesed thru the radio head unit, then pushed out to the amplifier where their sent to the speakers. SO, if I tied into the speaker wires behind the head unit before the amplifier then the signals from the parrot would be amplified before going to the speakers and everything would work fine?

Just thinking out loud.....Does this make sense?

Your thinking is correct. The signal needs to go into the audio system before the amp.
