Aftermarket HU peoples come in there...where to RUN RCA's

For those that have aftermarket HU's with amps. What direction did you guys run your RCA's? Did you go down the center or down the drivers side edge?

rca down the driver side
power down the passenger side

i just put them along the edge pull the panel off on clip the carpet then just push them down there. there is plenty of room and you will see a wire loom already in there so it doesnt make the carpet bludge out.

Do all double din units need a small plastic filler piece to close all gaps between the HU and the finisher. If so what should I use? A sheet of abs plastic trimmed to fit?

my head unit came with one as did jb's i think
so i dont know what you would need to use

i have teh kenwodd ddx 7015. there is apost on here of my install.
jb has an elipse unit not sure of the model number

I ran my wires like Daniel - RCA on the left and power/gps/sirius on the right.

My Kenwood came with a trim piece that does not fit, so I have a gap that I haven't fixed yet.

jb's Eclipse didn't come with one either. He has his install shop make one.
