The SCCA Tri-Region Race Group is pleased to announce that they will be holding a Performance Driving Experience (PDX) on the 2.5 mile SCCA Club Racing course at Pocono Raceway (run clockwise) on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17 (Father's Day weekend).
In its second year, the PDX is sanctioned by and held under the rules of the Sports Car Club of America, but membership is not a requirement for participation, and the price is the same for members and non-members. It is open to all street legal hard top cars, and convertibles with racing roll bars or factory hardtops that meet the SCCA technical/safety standards. Despite some recent safety concerns, the SCCA utilizes the NASCAR pits and paddock area so there is no chance of your cars being in danger by errant drivers.
At the tracks an SCCA instructor will be giving free rides to the lucky few, in the first fully built Vinny Ten/JWT TT 350Z
