well, it finally happened to me! I used iwon.com's shopping page to find a new digital camera for my wife for christmas. The best price wound up being a place called santasales.com. I ordered it on the 5th and hadn't received by the 15th, so I emailed them, and was told it would be shipped on the 18th 2nd day air. Needless to say, that day came and went.

I emailed them on the 24th and 26th, and just got the mail bounced back, so I checked the website, and it no longer exists either.

I disputed the charges with AMEX, so I'll be covered there, but then I did a search for them, and came up with this: http://www.resellerratings.com/forum/t91036.html
seems like a whole lot of folks got ripped by them.

Damn! Sorry to hear about that. I always stick with newegg.com for internet tech purchases. Or sometimes Ebay. Lots of those Yahoo stores just look SOOOO shady.

Agreed, that sucks. I use newegg or ecost for online tech purchases, they are usually close enough to the lowest price.

I did see newegg was close, but I just went to circuit city and bought it at a real store this time. I also haven't received an MP3 player I bought off ebay on the 5th either, but that guy sent me an actual tracking number today.

'Sorry to hear that - I've had good luck with internet camera buying but not so good luck with cars.
