I agree that guy was a complete moron, I mean he almost gets run over by his own rear wheel, but not all rednecks are morons and how do we know that this took place in the south? I mean I couldn't see anything, but it's curious that the word redneck is always to describe someone from that south in a negative way. I'm from IL, chicago to be more specific, I have family in the south though and I visit there every year. To me the word redneck is not a negative, but just a thought anyhow.:)

No redneck is a negative term.. it describes a ignorant individual.. It does not have to do anything with where the person is from or where they live it jsut orgionated in the south.... or at least that is jsut MHO as some one born and rased in the south

Well, since this did get intresting, I looked up the word redneck and to my surprise it's not what I thought it meant, I thought it was just meant to describe someone from the south like a "good ol boy" but according to Encarta it means this:

red·neck [ réd nèk ] (plural red·necks)

noun

1. a taboo term for a Caucasian farm hand in the southern United States, especially one regarded as uneducated or aggressively prejudiced


2. a taboo term for somebody who is opposed to liberal social changes, especially somebody regarded as prejudiced

So by the definition of what a redneck is, you can't really say this moron in the video is any of those, and on my account I was wrong for thinking that redneck meant good ol boy. My bad. At least we all agree that this is one of the dumbest things we have seen in awhile.
