Prize Number 1 - Large Z Poster
Our own tbcz created a large Z Poster for the 350ZFRENZY.com Raffle!!
Here is Tim's description of the poster:
"The poster was created from an Illustrator file that was posted on the other site a long time ago. Since it was a vector (as opposed to bitmap) file, this was the only file I have seen yet that was suitable for scaling up to this size. The original file was the “Z” only. I put this into a large black circle and surrounded that with the silver border gradation to simulate the look of the side badge on the car itself. Then the file was converted into a tiff. This file is 50” square at a resolution of 72 dpi.
The poster starts as a print on 50” wide paper on a large format HP printer (see image “LogoProcess1”). The paper used for this is pretty thin and not sturdy enough for many uses. So this print was then laminated onto a 10-mil white plastic backing, and then a 3-mil clear laminate is added on top of the print to protect it (see image “LogoProcess2” for lamination machine). The end result is a nice thick, glossy print suitable for hanging anywhere.
If someone came in off the street we would charge around $175 for a print of this size and quality."
