I recently had a Stillen Exhaust along with a High Flow Long Tube Intake system installed on my 07 G35S. It seems as though I have lost power since the install. I did not have a Dyno done before, nor after the install. Has anyone else experienced anything similiar to this?

what is the exhaust size?
Most likely it is the long tube intake. You may even have a vacume leak some where. If you are not getting any warning lights you may just need to reset the ECU. That always helps. For the O7 I am not sure if the unplugging the battery resets the ECU or not search and see.

exhaust installs can make you feel slight loss of hp because of the loss tq since it flows a lot better, especially for the big 2.5" stillen true dual.
did you redline it and see if it really kick in high RPMs?

you might also need to give it a few days to let the ecu adjust.

Thanks for all of the feedback. The exhaust is a Stillen 2.5 True Dual. I definitely feel a loss in torque, especially in the 2,000 to 3,500 RPM range. I haven't redlined it yet, therefore that's probably my next step. Thanks again.

well i just put on my stillen true duel and im leaving rubber going from 2nd to 3rd which wasnt doing it befor it so id say it makes more! though my engine feels like its waiting for the hp to come on when i get on it 4800rpm though you can really feel it

you may notice a slight loss in tq due to better flow with a true dual setup, however as you noticed it makes up for it in the high end. glad to hear you're enjoying it!

The Stillen Dual is a great exhaust system and it sound fantastic. Having had one myself, I would highly recommend it for anyone who is dedicated to staying normally aspirated or is supercharged, however, it is not ideal for a turbocharged Z or G.

Congrats on the new exhaust! We loved our Stillen exhaust on our previous Z, loved the sound. As Moto said, it isn't the most ideal for turbos so we went a different way this time.
