you can find great deals on used kits lately. since you dont know the owner though, try and find out some more info like who installed it and where it was tuned. seems like everything you would need to slap it on although i would recommend upgrading to a utec for engine management.
to be honest, ive only seen a couple prochargers in person. i havent heard anything bad about them but id personally buy vortech since theres more around. of course, vortech just had a bad batch of blowers so you have to take everything for granted. just remember with fi - take what you think it will cost and double it. ;)

I have seen a couple of prochargers on Z's and G's. DrBonz on 350zFRENZY has had a procharger on for quite a few years now with out major issues. The procharger does seem to chatter more than the Vortech (from what I remember).

Don't forget Alan's (SKYL1NE) trick ATI set up!! (Before he disapeared)
It was the first one I ever saw on a VQ.
It sounded like a 747 at takeoff......

Yes the kits are alot nosier than a vortech due to the internal oiling that it does....i have a sound clip of my car.. I am pushing 364 to the wheels and 316 lbs of torque..im going to re-tune soon though after all my goodies installed.
